A mayor elected by the people is more efficient, more in tune with the people and their needs. As an elected public servant in state and local government with eleven years of experience, I always have my ear open to input from the people. I promise to listen to your voice for better city government results for everyone. Vote “No” unelected city manager and Dan Johnson for mayor on November 2.”

Biography

Appointed December 2011 to fill a Senate vacancy in District 7, Dan Johnson is a graduate of the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forest Management (1989).  Dan continued his studies and is a graduate of Virginia Tech with an Master of Science Degree in forest economics (1991).  He completed his professional development in the Leadership Idaho Agriculture Program and the State of Idaho Certified Public Manager program.  Dan is married to Jean, and they have six adult children and eleven  grandchildren.
